Behind every healthy Pando dog and horse stand three quiet miracles:
Tiffany Pando, who personally funded the earliest years
Lucia Coronado, who has donated tens of thousands toward life-saving care
Our Amazing volunteers who give endlessly from their own pockets.
Together they have paid for hundreds of surgeries, dentals, x-rays, medications, and rehabilitation sessions across both sides of the border. Because of their love, no animal ever suffers for lack of funds. Every gentle nuzzle, every steady heartbeat under a hand or a child’s hug, carries their devotion.

Every dog labeled “untrainable,” or left behind, every horse written off as “too broken,” or just can't be cared for, Tiffany quietly proves the world wrong.
She rewires fear into trust, chaos into calm, and “hopeless” into gentle therapy partners who now heals others every single day.
From her own home-turned-sanctuary, dozens of these transformed souls have found forever families, with many more adoptions still to come.
Tiffany is endlessly grateful for every tail wag that walks out her door into a new life, knowing each one carries proof that love, patience, and second chances can rewrite any story.

We are a tiny village held together by love, showing up, and refusing to let any dog, horse, or human heal alone.

We don’t just rescue animals; we rescue each other. When strangers become volunteers, when donors become family, when children who have never felt safe suddenly laugh while brushing a horse that once flinched at every touch or never knew a kind word; that is community in its purest form.

Today, Nova is the same goofy, life-loving horse who gallops with pure joy, carrying Tiffany and her children on his strong back as if nothing ever happened. His scar is barely visible, but his spirit shines brighter than ever.

Jeffrey has quickly become everyone’s favorite “big teddy bear,” patiently teaching first-time riders, advanced dressage students, and everyone in between that true strength shows up as kindness.
He reminds us every single day that the biggest hearts often come in the largest packages, and that second chances can turn a surrendered horse into the steady heartbeat of an entire healing program.

He prances like he still owns the spotlight, yet lowers his head for the tiniest child and stands like a gentleman for a loving hug from a child finding their courage again.
Now he’s teaching Tiffany the finer points of saddle-seat elegance (with a little help from trusted trainers), and together they’re proving that a horse with sparkle and spirit can heal just as deeply as the quiet ones.
Outsider didn’t just join the herd. He brought the party, and reminded us all to live with a little more joy. 🐴✨
