Lucia Coronado is an unbreakable, radiant force of love wrapped in quiet strength. For over 4 years she has stood beside Tiffany at 3 a.m., answering every desperate call, never once turning away a single dog. Sleepless nights, border crossings, and impossible medical crises are simply what she does — because no animal in pain is ever “someone else’s problem.”

With grace that feels almost spiritual, Lucia coordinates life-saving veterinary care across Mexico and the U.S., turning hopeless cases into another chance at life. She is the calm voice, the steady hand, and the miracle-maker behind hundreds of second chances.

Beautiful inside and out, Lucia runs Pando’s entire canine branch with tenderness and precision. She is living proof that one woman’s refusal to give up can change thousands of lives — one wagging tail, one soft nuzzle, one healed heart at a time.

Jamie is the horse woman who stands her ground with a heart of pure gold. Fierce when safety demands it, endlessly generous when a hand is needed, she serves as Pando Foundation’s equestrian coordinator and lifeline to everything equine.

Her mastery of horse health, nutrition, etiquette, and disciplined care is legendary. Countless times she has quietly solved crises, sourced perfect feed at a moment’s notice, and kept every Pando horse thriving through her trusted feed store and unwavering expertise.

Jamie doesn’t just help coordinate and manage the equestrian side — she protects it, nurtures it, and pours love into every bale of hay and every gentle correction. She is the steady, golden thread that keeps our horses safe, healthy, and ready to heal the humans who need them most.

We are beyond blessed she calls Pando home.

Katherine Holton “Kathy”  has been Tiffany’s rock since the very first day of Pando Dog Training. She is the gentle voice that whispered “keep going” on the hardest nights, the brilliant student who became the master, and the best friend who never left the passenger seat during a single rescue run or overwhelming break down.

Countless hours, thousands of repetitions, endless patience; Kathy helped shape every therapy dog now bringing peace to Tiffanys world. She was there at the beginning, and she is here at the heart of everything beautiful we do.

Kathy doesn’t just train dogs With Tiffany. She trains the hope. Her steady presence reminds us all that true loyalty looks like showing up, day after day, with love in your eyes and belief in your heart.

We are forever grateful she chose this journey with us.

Our Volunteers

Beth & Glen

Beth and Glen have been part of the Pando village for over three years, but their story with us truly began the day they opened their hearts and home to Guapo.

Once a terrified new resident of Pando Sanctuary, Guapo had been pulled from a severe hoarding case, shut down and fearful of the world. In 2024, Beth and Glen adopted Guapo from Tiffany, and together with their gentle Nella, they poured endless love and training into both dogs until they became certified therapy teams.

Today, Guapo, the dog nobody thought would ever trust again, rests his head on a beautiful Personal crochet blanket from Beth and we'll never know a hungry day again I never know loneliness with Nella by his side. Beth and Glen show up every single time we need them, offering comfort, consistency, and the living proof that rescue plus love equals miracles.

They are not just volunteers. They are family, and they are why we never give up.

Irene Kyung

Irene Kyung first walked through our doors as a Pando Dog Training client with her two incredible bulldogs, Frankie and Maddie — and somehow never really left.

What started as training sessions turned into the sweetest friendship: every visit came with homemade treats for Tiffany, laughter that filled the kennels, and a heart so big it wrapped around every dog in sight. Irene and her amazing husband have become quiet pillars of Pando Foundation — showing up with donations, endless encouragement, and the kind of steady support that makes miracles feel possible.

Frankie and Maddie are now regular therapy visitors, bringing bulldog smiles to veterans and children who need them most. Irene’s kindness reminds us daily that the best volunteers don’t just help — they become family.

We are endlessly grateful for Irene Kyung: friend, cheerleader, and living proof that love smells like fresh-baked treats and bulldog snorts. 💕

Joe Luke

Joe and his incredible wife Nikki, and their entire Pau Hana bulldog family have been with Pando Foundation since the very first heartbeat.

They didn’t just support us; they helped build us. They have generously placed multiple English Bulldogs into our therapy program — each one a walking bundle of wrinkles and love — and have never missed an event when we needed an extra squishy face to brighten someone’s day. Whether it’s loading up the car at a moment’s notice, showing up with smiling dogs and even bigger smiles, or quietly covering whatever gap appears, Joe and Nikki have been the definition of day-one believers.

Their love, loyalty, and endless generosity are woven into every gentle bulldog nudge that helps a veteran breathe easier or makes a child laugh for the first time in months.

Joe and Nikki aren’t supporters. They are family — and Pando would not be home without them. 🐾❤️
