Thank you for supporting our sanctuary community.
At Pando Impact, we don’t function alone. We thrive because of an extraordinary circle of partners, volunteers, and dedicated professionals who have become the very heart and center of our mission. These are the compassionate individuals and businesses who pour their time, expertise, products, and hearts into every aspect of our work—ensuring our rescued dogs and horses remain healthy, happy, and ready to heal others.
From veterinarians who rush emergency care at a moment’s notice, to farriers who provide expert hoof care and keep our horses steady on their feet, to feed suppliers and nutrition experts who deliver the perfect hay and balanced meals even at impossible hours—these unsung heroes make sure our animals are nourished in body and spirit. They donate services, offer discounted care, celebrate every breakthrough, and treat each animal as if it were their own.
Their generosity extends far beyond animal care. They support our educational programs, therapy sessions, and community outreach, helping us deliver trauma-informed healing to veterans, children, individuals with disabilities, and people from all walks of life. Through their involvement, they help create the safe spaces where veterans finally find peace, children whisper words of courage, and adults rediscover belonging—one gentle interaction at a time.
Without this unwavering collaboration, their belief in second chances, and their choice of kindness over convenience, Pando would remain just a dream. Instead, it’s a living reality: a village paying forward hope, resilience, and love.
To every veterinarian, farrier, trainer, feed supplier, small business owner, volunteer, and partner who shows up consistently: You are the unseen roots that keep our forest standing strong.Your love radiates through the animals and into every life we touch. Thank you for growing with us, believing in us, and helping us heal together.

Without Seaside Bulldogs Pet Shop and the tireless heart of Lucia Coronado, hundreds of dogs, cats, and even goats would never have received the medical care they desperately needed.
Lucia has driven countless miles, coordinated with trusted veterinarians in Tijuana, and personally covered or arranged life-saving procedures when cost would have meant surrender or worse. From emergency spays to broken bones, from heartworm treatment to dental rescues, she has been the quiet, relentless backbone of Pando’s canine (and sometimes feline and caprine!) health program.
Seaside Bulldogs stands right beside her, opening doors to affordable care across the border and never turning away a Pando animal in crisis.
Because of their partnership, love, and refusal to let money stand in the way of healing, hundreds of once-hopeless cases are now gentle therapy dogs bringing comfort to veterans and children.
They are the reason second chances are never out of reach. We are endlessly grateful. 🐾❤️

What began as an emergency call about an injured horse has blossomed into one of Pando’s most exciting friendships.
For nearly three years, Jamie La Fortune and her self-running Jamul Feed & Supply have been our lifeline for everything equine. From the perfect hay to critical supplements, from connecting us with the best farriers to rushing emergency supplies at a moment’s notice, Jamie has made sure no Pando horse ever lacks what it needs to heal and thrive.
Her knowledge, generosity, and heart have turned a simple feed store into a sanctuary partner we could never live without. Every bale delivered, every late-night phone call answered, every quiet “don’t worry, I’ve got you” has kept our horses strong enough to carry veterans and children toward their own healing.
Jamie doesn’t just supply feed. She supplies hope.
We are endlessly grateful. 🐴❤️

Alana Rae Pappas has been Tiffany’s farrier since the very first horse stepped onto Pando ground, and she is so much more than “the hoof girl.”
With her beautiful smile and her sweet son riding shotgun, Allana shows up rain or shine, turning every visit into a masterclass in care, precision, and kindness. She keeps every Pando horse balanced, sound, and moving like the gentle healers they are meant to be. When a horse needs a restart, Allana is already there offering to restart them herself, when a foot looks wrong at a last minute's notice she's there to help.
Her skill is legendary, but her heart is the real miracle. Allana and Pappas Family Ranch don’t just trim hooves; they carry our horses so our horses can carry veterans and children toward healing.
We are endlessly grateful for Allana; beautiful mother, masterful farrier, and one of the strongest roots in our village. 🐴❤️
With 17 years of dedicated service in law enforcement, Officer Yovanna Gonzalez has spent the past four years as a key member of the San Diego Police Department's Gang Intervention Unit (GIU). The GIU is a specialized team consisting of five officers and one sergeant, operating as a Zero Enforcement Unit focused on prevention, mentoring, and community building rather than traditional policing. Their mission centers on guiding youth from elementary school through high school by educating them about the dangers of gang involvement, fostering team building, establishing trust, and creating positive, long-lasting relationships within their communities.
The unit is deeply committed to the youth they serve, running multiple programs throughout the year with the invaluable support of dedicated community partners. These initiatives are carefully designed to expose young people to new experiences, provide consistent guidance and officer support, and offer opportunities in environments where resources are often limited. By bridging the gap between law enforcement, youth, and the broader community, the GIU helps create meaningful moments and lasting memories that support entire families—especially in high-risk areas where parents work tirelessly just to make ends meet, leaving little time to provide the experiences they wish for their children.
This work is profoundly personal to Yovanna. Having lost both of her parents at the age of 14 and finding herself on her own by 17, she understands firsthand how challenging it is to navigate life without direction, support, or a sense of family. That lived experience fuels her unwavering commitment to the juveniles she serves—many of whom face similar circumstances in neighborhoods where opportunities feel out of reach.
Throughout the majority of her career, Yovanna has worked closely with juveniles, including those who are currently incarcerated or have previously been involved in the justice system. She assists them with basic life skills, helps rebuild the trust they may have lost in law enforcement, and witnesses their gradual transformation as they begin to communicate more openly, aspire to more for their lives, and engage positively with officers. For Yovanna, seeing these changes—even when they happen slowly—is one of the greatest rewards. The work is not about instant results; it requires time, consistency, and patience. But the relationships built and the progress observed make every effort deeply meaningful and impactful.
Officer Gonzalez's approach embodies the GIU's core belief: when law enforcement shows up with genuine care and consistency, it becomes a bridge to hope, belonging, and brighter futures.
Officer Estrada has dedicated countless hours to the Gang Resistance Education and Training (G.R.E.A.T.) Program, delivering impactful lessons to 4th graders at Chollas Meade Elementary in the mornings. You’d often find him on the playground, meeting up with the kids, playing kickball, and building genuine, positive connections that foster trust and open doors for meaningful conversations.
Beyond the classroom, Officer Estrada continues to support the San Diego Police Department Gang Intervention Unit through a wide range of community initiatives, including food distributions, holiday events, sports programs, and much more. His unwavering commitment to youth mentorship, prevention, and relationship-building aligns perfectly with the GIU's mission of guiding young people away from gang involvement through education, team building, and consistent support.
We are thrilled to welcome Officer Estrada with open arms into the Pando Impact community. His heart is truly focused on making limitless strides in kids' worlds—gaining momentum to change lives one positive interaction at a time. Through his work, he helps create safe spaces where children feel seen, supported, and empowered, bridging law enforcement with families and communities in ways that inspire lasting hope and belonging.
